The refreshing design of the Casablanca Malibu Star will captivate your imagination. A bicycle sprocket serves as the hub, and the nautical look results from the airy silk fabric blades tensioned by fiberglass fishing rods. This large fan will become the focal point of any room.

I do not plan to have a light kit. Is there a control I can get that does not have the light control knob like on the W-81 that this fan comes with?

A. The Casablanca Malibu Star ceiling fan includes the W-81 wall control. It is also compatible with the optional W-52 remote control. Both have light dimming capability. Without a light kit, the light control knob will just be a non-functioning feature.

Do you have a 48" down rod? or will the 36" and the existing 12" go together?

A. Casablanca does offer a 48" downrod, and it's part number PL-48.

I like the Malibu star's base and sail cloth blades, but can only use a 6 inch down rod. Any suggestions

A. The Casablanca Malibu Star comes with a standard 12" downrod, but a 6" downrod is available as an accessory - Casablanca PL-06.
