The Craftmade Cosmos Unipack comes with Remote model number UC-2000 (http://www.lightingdirect.com/craftmade-uc-2000-universal-remote-and-receiver-for-craftmade-ceiling-fans/p687552) It controls the speed of the fan and the light on off, but does not have a dimmer, THank you for your question.
The Craftmade Cosmos Unipack is cULsa and CSA approved. It comes with the hardware to mount on ceilings up to 35 degrees. You will need part # 45AD if your ceiling slope is greater then 35 degrees.
The Craftmade Cosmos Unipack has a dimmer on it so using compact fluorescents is not recommended.
