I've purchased this light and after a short time the bulb blew. After visiting the store I can not locate this type of bulb. Where can I find a bulb for this light?

The Craftmade ProStar Basketball requires 1 18w GU24 base Compact Fluorescent. The closest match that we have is the 18W GU24 Spiral Compact Fluorescent. This will fit in your light however the one that you have now, may not be a spiral light.

How do I adjust the frequency on the remote and fan unit.

The Craftmade ProStar Basketball should be dip switches on the receiver that is inserted inside the fan that you can adjust to match the switches on your hand held remote to adjust the frequency to match each other but not any other fans in your home.

Can the fan be installed on a pitched ceiling? Do you sell the adapter?

Yes to both: the adapter is the Craftmade 45AD.
