The Elk Lighting 42260/1 takes a 10W LED bulb so it will not have a standard bulb base. As far as the life of the product goes; I was not able to get a firm idea of how long its intended to last. I would say 5-7 years.
A 10W LED bulb is the equivelent of roughly an 80W standard incandescent bulb.
