PETITE AND SEXY THIS FAN LOOKS BETTER IN PERSON THAN IN THE PICTURES. EVERYONE COMMENTS ON HOW MUCH THEY LIKE IT. THE FAN REALLY IS MORE FOR LOOKS THAN IT IS MOVING AIR AROUND. WE MOUNTED IT ON THE WALL AND IT'S SO SMALL IT REALLY DOES NOT HAVE ALOT OF POWER WITH THE SMALL BLADES.WE LIKE THE LOOK THOUGH AND NEED THE NOISE OF IT TO SLEEP AT NIGHT. A LITTLE PRICY BUT WE ARE HAPPY WITH IT OVERALL September 9, 2011

Unique Look Quiet Operation The fan was received in good shape and delivered in a reasonable amount of time. We wall mounted ours and it looks very interesting. My wife thinks it looks like an alien but I feel it has a old architectural feel to it. Runs very well and quiet. September 6, 2010

Will include a remote control?

The Fanimation Fitzgerald does not come with a remote control.

Description implies this can be mounted over a wall outlet, the cord would then be concealed inside the base?????How does the unit attack to the wall under this scenario?

The Fanimation Fitzgerald includes a wall mounting kit that will allow wiring it to the outlet and conecting it to a toggle switch. If you have any other questions please call 800-375-3403 x725 for Jordan. I hope this helps.

Can this fan be hard wired or do you have to plug it in?

Fanimation, the manufacturer, only reccommends that the Fitzgerald is only used with a plug. Any other type of installation would void all warranties.
