The shade on this light looks pretty dark, but the description says it is white grasscloth. Does it look whiter in person? Is the shade in the picture a different color?

A. The Forecast Lighting F431 Contemporary / Modern Drum Pendant Shade is going to be a creamer color like shown in the picture. Grasscloth White going to be more of a true to nature grassland color rather than a pure white.

What is the max wattage that can be used for each bulb? Does this come with a diffuser? Can more than one stem be combined for proper length?

A. The Forecast Lighting F431 is the shade only, it depends on which suspension kit you pair it with.

can't you use florescent bulbs in any fixture? why is a florescent fixture more than an incandescent fixture? Can't I buy an incandescent fixture and use CFLs?

A. The Forecast Lighting F431 is an incandescent fixture but it will accept the CFL bulbs as long as the base is the same as the regular incandescent bulbs.

I am looking at the F431 drum pendant shade (grasscloth white) on my computer screen it has a gone /yellowish tone. I am wondering if it is my computer screen? I am looking for more of a cream color.

A. The Forecast Lighting F431 is more of beige color than cream, meaning that it does have a sort of yellowish tone to the shade.

A. The Forecast Lighting F431 is only the shade you have to add a suspension kit.

What kind and size bulbs can this fixure take (f431 with suspension kit and a diffuser) for each stem size?

A. The Forecast Lighting F431 is just the shade itself; however, the suspension kit that you would purchase with this unit is the F430-36U. That requires Requires (4) 26W Quad Tube CFL 4 Pin Bulbs.

Do you carry other color shades like the f431?

A. Yes, you can order the F432 which comes with the natural grass cloth shade instead of the white.

Why does the F-432 come with the suspension kit, but this model doesn't? They look to be the same fixture except for the shade

A. The Forecast Lighting F431 is very similar to the F432 with the exception of the Color. The 431 is White Grasscloth while the 432 is Natural Grasscloth (slightly darker). Both require a suspension kit such as the Forecast F430E1.
