Good purchase I chose this fixture because the one I really wanted to order was outside of the price ange I was willing to pay for pendant lighting in my kitchen remodel. I am very happy that I chose this light fixture; it provides the lighting that I need, I liked that there were three stem sizes to help me customize the length that it would hang, and in the end, it ended up looking a lot better than I expected. If I order a 48" downrod just how far from the ceiling does the light hang. Can it adjust to a sloped ceiling.

The Forte Lighting 2225-01 has a height of 7". The 48" would be added to that to get your total.

Does this light come with some down rods or do you have to order them separately ?

The Forte Lighting 2225-01 comes with a 6", 12" and 18" down rod.

Can I use a compact flourescent bulb in it if I choose?

The Forte Lighting 2225-01 fixture can use Compact Fluorescent bulbs. Medium base bulbs.
