Does this fan include transmitter?
The Hunter 22459 does not include a transmitter, you would need to purchase it separately with the remote control such as the 27186. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
How low does the fan hang from the ceiling with the 3" down rod and light fixture?
The overall height of 18.75" is with a 3" downrod and the light kit included.
I have a Hunter 818928 remote can it be used with this fan?
The Hunter 22459 is not made to be used with the 818928.
I need glass light cover and screw to hold it in place, can I buy this without having to buy whole new fan?
The Hunter 22459 is the whole fan, blades, and light kit included. You can purchase the light cover kit in New Bronze finish, item # 22341.
Is the light enclosed--not an open bowl?
The Hunter 22459 light kit is enclosed.
Can the 22459 use a 60" extension rod and mounted from a 45 degree ceiling?
Yes, the 60" rod is item # 26046 and you can mount on a sloped ceiling up to 45 degrees with the additon of item # 27996, the sloped ceiling adapter.
Can this ceiling fan be flush mounted?
The Hunter 22459 can not be flush mounted.

What is "Installers Choice Three-position Mounting System"? Will I still need a drop rod? The fan I'm replacing has a 12"- 14" drop rod.
Installers Choice Three-Positioning means you hang the Hunter 22459 on a flat ceiling, with a longer down rod or you can hang it at an angle.
Can this fan be installed in an outdoor covered patio?
The Hunter 22459 is not recommended for an outdoor installation.
I assume the fan speeds can also be controlled by a wall switch designed for fans that accomodates various speed settings? Or do I need to buy the remote control to avoid having to pull the chain to change speeds?

The Hunter 22459 can use a 72 inch downrod. I would recommend the Model 26047.

The Hunter 22459 can use CFL bulbs, but they must be candelabra base.

The Hunter 22459 will require a remote and receiver in order to operate this fan wirelessly.
