Simple and elegant
Some lights just need to be seen to be apprieciated. There is not too much to this overhead light, but the clean lines and modern aesthetic are just enough in my opinion.
Even though this is classified as a billiard fixture, I use it in lieu of a chandelier.

Looks Great, but Some Noise
The fixture was purchased for a dining room. It came well packed and installation was straight forward. The counter balance function of the fixture is a nice feature. We bought the bronze finish and it looks sharp in our craftsman style house. However there a notable buzz coming from the ballast/transformer at full power. We later installed a dimmer switch which exacerbates this noise when the lights are dimmed.

Excellent price & Stylish Lamp
Lamp was as described. It is very easy to mount and hang this lamp. We ended up having to cut the overall length of the wire a bit to get the right height for the lamp and slider bar. This was easily accomplished. As easy to hang as any piece of track lighting.
I suggest you have someone help you with the mounting. Makes it easier for someone to hold the lamp and slider, while the connections are made.
Lamp includes an electronic transformer. If you plan on dimming this, you will need an electronic transformer dimmer.
Great looking lamp at a great price. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Where can I buy replacement parts for my 8027? I have a broken bulb cover I need to replace.

can this light be mounted without using the extension wires? What is the shortest hanging length?
The Kovacs GK P8027 can be wired at a minimum length of 42 inches. The wires will need to be used, but are adjustable to a bare-minimum length. I hope this helps!
