Minka Aire RC212 - Hand Held Remote 5 5 1 1

Remote works with wall switch Purchased the remote with the MinkaAire fan because my kids don't want to have to get out of bed to turn the fan or light off or on - teenagers! The remote looks exactly like the wall switch so no confusion, and both remote and wall switch work interchangeably which is good as the kids have a way of misplacing remotes. April 27, 2011

Does this come with the receiver?

The MinkaAire RC212 is the remote control only.

i have misplaced the remotes for some aceros installed in 2004. is this the correct replacement remote?

The MinkaAire RC210 will work as a replacement remote for your fan because it was bought in 2004.

Is this the remote for the MinkaAire Concept I Outdoor?

The MinkaAire RC212 is not compatible with any of the Outdoor fans.

Will this remote work on the F614 timless fan

The MinkaAire RC212 is compatible with the F614.

Will this remote work with a Hunter ceiling fan 20175?

The MinkaAire RC212 is not designed to work with a Hunter fan.

The MinkaAire RC212 will work just fine with the MinkaAire Acero.

Will the Delano II Ceiling Fan and Light operate with only the handheld MinkaAire RC212 remote (without the wired wall switch)?

The MinkaAire RC212 is compatible with the Delano II, but it's not included so you will need to order that in addition to the fan.

Will this remote work with the Minka Napoli and Minka Romantic Breeze?

The MinkaAire RC212 will work with both the Napoli and the Romantic Breeze fan.

Is a receiver or any other part required to work with the Supra 44 Uni-Pack?

The MinkaAire Supra 44 will require you to use the RC221 which includes the remote and the receiver.

Will the MinkaAire RC212 work with the Artemis?

The MinkaAire RC212 will work with the Artemis fan.

Will This Remote Operate A Progress Ceiling? Also, does it come with the receiver that mounts above the fan? Will it work with an existing 2--wire set up , & still operate the fan independently from the light?

Will this remote work with the Minka-Aire Lineage Ceiling Fan

The MinkaAire RC212 will work with the Lineage fan.

Will this remote work with the San Francisco without the wall control that it came with? I have the fan wired to a regular 3 way switch, but need a remote to control speeds.

The MinkaAire RC212 is not compatible with the San Francisco. You instead need the RC213 or WC213.

Does the RC212 remote come with interchangeable white and ivory plate/covers like the WC212 wall mounted remote?

The MinkaAire RC212 does not come with interchangeable plate covers, only the wall mount has that feature.

How do you reverse the fan directions?

The MinkaAire RC212 has a reverse button, its the two arrows that make a circle.

my minka f602 fan (bought in 2008) needs a new receiver. it uses wc210 wall mount control. what replacement receiver do i need?

The replacement receiver for your Minka F602 fan is item P001022500.

Will it work with Viper F807 and can I use both wall and hand held?

You will need to have a green receiver for it to work with the RC212.

The MinkaAire RC212 will not work with the viper f807.

will this remote work with the minka aire cirque fans with the 6 digit programable wall switch?

The MinkaAire RC212 will work with the Cirque as long as you have the green receiver. If it is the black receiver then you need the RC210.

What is the difference between the MinkaAire RC210, RC212 and RC213?

The RC210 is for the older model which will have a black receiver. The RC212 is for the newer model which will have a green receiver on the fan. The RC213 is a hand controller for the newer model. For any questions please give me a call at 1-800-375-3403 ext 563.

What is needed to equip a mika aire new era fan for remote operation

The MinkaAire RC212 is simply a remote I suggest using the RC223, which includes the remote and necessary receiver.
