Yes, the MinkaAire Sundance 52 can be flushmounted when used with the A180 low ceiling adapter. With the ceiling adapter the total height is approximately 15 inches.

I had previosuly not heard of this brand of fan, but needed the a special light kit. i am very happy with the quality.

Great Fan!
This fan is a great match to the antique bronze fixtures I already have hanging on my porch. It is very quiet and does a great job of moving the air around (although we haven't had a hot summer day to try it out yet!). Great purchase - great price, and the low price guarantee was a real plus! Customer service was wonderful!

The MinkaAire Sundance 52 does not come with a remote. For a wall remote you may order a WC105 or WC106. You'd want to use the 106 if you're getting a light kit as it will have a dimmer on it.
Can this fan be used outdoors in an arbor?
The MinkaAire Sundance 52 is UL listed for wet locations so it should be fine in an arbor.
Where is the MinkaAire made?
Minka Aire is made overseas in China.
The tech specs say that the fan is not light kit compatible, but the question box says that there is a light kit available and even gives the model #. Can a light be added to the fan or not?
