It works We had a small 6 x 10 bathroom remodeled. I had my doubts... as long as you start the exhaust before you turn the shower on it works well and I can see it pulling the steam due to the position of the recessed lighting. It could be a little more powerful but without the option to to run a full exhaust system I am very satisfied. August 21, 2011

Nice Quiet Little Fan I was a little skeptical purchasing a vent fan on-line. I was afraid I would end up with something that was loud and annoying. I needed a ventless fan and could not locate one locally, so I took a chance and ordered on-line. I was pleasantly suprised to find that this fan is quiet, and efficient. We do not carry a bath fan with a heater that is ductless. The NuTone 682NT is the only ductless bath fan we carry.

The NuTone 682NT does not come with a light kit. Are you looking for a ductless bathroom fan imparticular? We do have plenty of other models that include a light kit but have ducts.

The NuTone 682NT is made to help sanitize air. Because of the nature of cigarette smoke, you would probably be burning through a lot of filters, since they would leave a sticky residue. It would probably also be really, really nasty to change. For cigarette smoke you would probably want something that is ducted.
