Can this be used on a ceiling with a 45 degree pitch?

The Progress Lighting P2522 ceiling fan can be used on a sloped ceiling up to 45 degrees.

What color are the blades?

The Progress Lighting P2522 comes in three different colors. Brushed Nickel with light wood blades, Brushed Nickel with reversible cherry blades, and White with white blades

can this fan have a brighter light put on it or can you recommend me a fan flush mounted ceiling fan that has a brighter light

The Progress Lighting P2522 does not recomened that you go above the 40 watt bulb, remeber however that there are three of those bulbls which makes this a pretty bright light. You can get more light if you choose a fan with a greater number of bulbs like the Emerson CF711 that includes 4 60w bulbs.

Is there a wireless remote for this unit?

The Progress Lighting P2522 can be used with the P2614 remote, or the P2618 remotes.

Do you have to use light fixture and does it come with its own 36" downrod?

The Progress Lighting P2522 ceiling fan can only be used with the light kit. It comes with a 3/4" and a 4-1/4" downrod. The 36" is Progress Lighting P2606.

What is the CFM of this fan?

The Progress Lighting P2522 moves 5180 cubic feet per minute.
