It is brighter than I thought it would be. It's great... May 30, 2011

Good Choice Fixture was purchased to upgrade an outdoor main entry (cheapo) fixture. New fixture installed easily with no suprises. I installed the new fixture with low wattage CFLs instead of incandescents. Looks great and the new fixture is provides a nice appeal to entry. June 1, 2009

Can this fixture be used in an entry hall inside?

The Progress Lighting P5789 is not recommended for indoor use because of its wattage and the amount of light that will be emitted.

If you use this light indoors in a downstairs hallway could you use lower watt bulbs?

The Progress Lighting P5789 can use lower watt bulbs in this light; you can’t use higher watt bulbs.
