Does it come with the housing? Is there a housing for it that is safe to touch insulation?

The WAC Lighting HR-D418 4 Inch Shower Lighting is trim only.

Is it dimmable?

The WAC Lighting HR-D418 is not dimmable.

It would really be nice if you actually showed all the trim finishes. I have a particular color in mind and you say you have it, but no picture.

The WAC Lighting HR-D418 is available in either white or copper bronze finish. Unfortunately WAC Lighting has not provided us with a picture of this particular item in the copper bronze finish.

Why is it so expensive compared to other trims?

The WAC Lighting HR-D418 is more expensive because it is UL Listed for wet locations, it is a low voltage trim and it has a drop dish dome.

Can I just get the glass lens

Replacement lenses are not sold separately for the WAC Lighting HR-D418.

How do you replace the bulb on this one?

The WAC Lighting HR-D418 trim piece has spring clips that you take off. From there you just unplug the bulb and replace it with a new one. WAC Lighting has the instruction sheet on their website.

Am I correct that this light is OK for showers (wet room)?

The WAC Lighting HR-D418 is designed to be installed as overhead lighting in showers.

Can this be used in a steam room

WAC Lighting HR-D418 is UL listed for wet locations so this would work in a steam room.
