A seriously clever design, the Capriole Rattan Wall Sconce looks as if it is made of a floating stem of natural material when viewed from the front, but when seen from the side, the bow-shaped hardware that attaches it to the backplate creates a dynamic design detail. The way the minimal metal bands clasp the stem creates further interest. To contrast the natural rattan, Clarence Mallari, the designer of the fixture, chose a finish for the metal.
